Product Details
Description
This fabric, a winter fabric – Indian cashmere wool from the Siyaram brand – is specially designed for elegant winter garments such as dishdashas, light jackets, and bishts or light cloaks. Indian cashmere wool is known for its soft texture and medium thickness, providing excellent warmth for Kuwait's winter climate without being overly heavy. The fabric has a neat drape and maintains its shape, giving it a sophisticated and elegant look without sagging or losing its shape quickly.
The striped fabric gives it a classic, luxurious feel, and it's available in silver, gray, camel, and petrol blue, perfect for a formal dishdasha or a simple winter jacket. Weighing approximately 0.33 kg per meter, it falls within the range of medium-weight winter fabrics that drape beautifully while providing warmth and comfort.
This type of felt is ideal for winter wear in Kuwait and the Gulf region, especially from November to February, or for travel to colder climates. It combines warmth, a soft texture, and an elegant look suitable for the office, work, or formal occasions. At 3 Kuwaiti dinars per meter, it offers excellent value for a practical and high-quality Indian cashmere felt fabric, perfect for both tailoring and everyday wear.
Washing Care Instruction
• It is preferable to dry clean Indian Kashmiri wool at a trusted laundry, especially if the garment is tailored and lined.
• If you have to wash it at home, use cold or slightly lukewarm water (no more than 30 degrees).
• Use a soap specifically designed for wool or delicate fabrics, without chlorine or harsh chemicals.
• Gently move the cloth with water without vigorous rubbing, squeezing, or twisting.
• Rinse it with the same water temperature so that it does not shrink or become distorted.
• Squeeze the water out gently by hand without twisting or tugging.
• Never use a dryer, because the heat and movement shrink the wool and ruin the texture.
• Dry the fabric while it is laid flat on a towel in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Avoid hanging it while it is wet so that it does not stretch or change shape.
• For ironing, use low to medium heat with light steam, and place a piece of cotton between the iron and the fabric so that it does not shine.
• Storage should be in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, inside a cloth cover, using pieces of cedar or lavender wood to protect against moths and dust.
